The transition was easy, profitable and as we had suspected six years ago when we started working in the commercial field, it is a perfect compliment to the type of work that we had our origins in. Not only are we able to keep a 35-50 man crew going year-round, but it has allowed us to purchase construction equipment and small tools that make us very suited for both types of work.
We also found it necessary (mostly at our customer's request) to work outside the physical boundaries of our area and have worked in all corners of the United States. In the past years, we were involved in projects in California, Texas, Montana, South Carolina, Alaska, Oklahoma, Louisiana, and Washington.
As an increasing market for 'turn-key' construction has become prevalent in our industry we have found it necessary to form alliances with others in different areas of expertise. We don't like to think of ourselves as a construction management company because we are a 'hands-on' group of people. Rather, we tend to serve as a center for compiling information and a hub for assembling people and products necessary for installation of industrial equipment.
We have formed a 'team' of companies with areas of expertise in electrical, PLC, hydraulic, and steel manufacturing and can offer input to any project being considered. We are financially solvent and we have excellent Worker's Compensation loss time record (our multi. Mod.=.76) which is remarkable considering the inherent danger associated with the type of work that we do.
We would be happy to provide any information about our company that you deem necessary.
Sincerely,
Jeff King Contractor, Inc.
